Dress Code

The Bendigo Jockey Club enforces a strict neat casual policy on all race days where member facilities are open. Management reserves the right to use its discretion and refuse any member or their guest access to the member's stand, if they are deemed to be dressed inappropriately.
A higher standard of dress is required on Bendigo Cup Day, which also applies in the Silks Dining Room.

GENTLEMEN
Gentlemen are required to wear a collared shirt with pants or dress shorts. Dress shoes or sandals to be worn. Suit and tie is recommended, especially for Bendigo Cup; however other acceptable alternatives include collared shirts (suit jacket, sports coat and tie optional), tailored shorts and slacks with appropriate shoes or leather sandals will be acceptable.

LADIES
Ladies are required to follow the neat casual dress code. Dresses, skirts, tailored slacks and 3/4 pants will be acceptable   Hats or fascinators are encouraged on feature race days, particularly Bendigo Cup Day.

CHILDREN
Children 15 years and over are expected to dress to the same standard as adults.

NOT PERMITTED
T-Shirts, track pants, leggings, ripped or torn clothing, clothing with offensive material, football guernseys, singlets, beanies, board shorts, thongs, runners and other footwear are not permitted.
